LSD to offer PADI Self Reliant Diver Course
Breaking news! After Careful consideration, LSD has decided to start offering the PADI Self Reliant Diver Course.
PADI Self Reliant Diver specialty:
The course is an introduction to self-reliant diving that will help you develop the skills, knowledge and techniques necessary to rely on yourself first, giving you the ability to undertake dives in a much safer way than ever before!
The course consists of three dives during which you will be introduced to the use of a redundant gas supply and master skills to manage various emergency situations independently - practising out of air drills, dealing with free-flow situations, as well as fine-tuning existing skills such as SMB deployment and navigation.
Prerequisites: PADI Advanced Open Water (or equivalent); 100 logged buddy dives
Course structure: 1 day – knowledge development session & 3 dives
